Rows of white gravestones and a dogwood tree in bloom in the spring at the Annapolis National Cemetery, Annapolis, Maryland. The Annapolis national cemetery was established by Abraham Lincoln in 1862. Soldiers from the civil war to more modern conflicts are interned here, however the cemetery is closed to new internments. The total number of internment's as of 2007 is 2995.
