An evening view of Sheep Mountain in the White Mountains located in the Inyo National Forest near Bishop, California. The upper slopes of the White Mountains hold open forests of Great Basin bristlecone pine. One of the bristlecone pines, nicknamed 'Methuselah', is the oldest known tree in the world, dating approximately 4,700 years old.
